“I had a long layover at the Seattle airport so I did a day stay here before an international flight. The hotel is a bit dated but being horizontal and taking a shower before a long flight was worth every penny. It was $150 for the day stay and you have access to your room from 9am - 5pm. I was able to book the room the morning of. Although dated, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but worked fine. The AC was blasting and had no issues cooling the room. The hotel is a very short walk away from the airport. Walk to the SeaTac Light Rail Station, then go to the far left corner and continue on the skyway to cross the street. Then you can go down a level to the street and the hotel is a block away. It was a 10 minute walk from getting off the plane to the hotel.”
“We pre-paid for 4 days of parking while we went on a trip. Hilton advertises 24 hour shuttle service with pickups every 20 minutes and two vans running, but on our return, we stood in the shuttle area for well over an hour (with our exhausted granddaughter) and finally got on a shuttle after midnight. This was after we called several times to find out when we could expect to be picked up. We never saw more than a single shuttle running. Once the shuttle finally arrived, the driver kept piling more people in. In the end there were 7 people in a row of 4 seats, 3 people in rows of 2 seats, and 2 people in single seats. We absolutely do NOT recommend parking here.”
“I'm a diamond member. First of all, they say there's no available room upgrades as they are all booked but if you look online, they have availabilities. Secondly the room we got required crossing through an open garden to get to and the elevator is questionable in terms of whether it's working or not. We ended up getting an extra room as the room we got only had 2 full beds and we all won't fit. (despite a fully booked place). The second room that my kids got had ants in it that kept coming back all night long. Everything is also for a fee. Parking? Fee. Coffee? Fee. I picked this because it looked nicer but the rooms are worn and at that rate I might have as well picked a homewood suite. Food credit is only to be used at the steakhouse or their barista that's closed. Long story even shorter. One star won't go back here again.”
“This place is a nightmare and should not be allowed to exist!! Worst stay I've had in years. Yelp should give an option to give ZERO STARS. OR NEGATIVE INFINITY STARS! Terrible customer service. Don't stay here. The key card to the parking garage doesn't work. You'll have to push the help button and wait for someone to open the gate so you can exit with your car. When I checked in, I noticed right away that my room smelled like cigarette smoke and I'm asthmatic so I went back to the front desk and asked for a room change. They said they would send someone to clean it. So I went back to the room and a cleaning person comes with a bottle of febreeze. Yes, febreeze!!! I declined since this was NOT a solution. I went back to the front desk and asked to be switched to another room. And I stated that I did not want to face the train tracks since they're loud and they're right outside the hotel. I was able to switch to another room after 2 hours of begging and yelling at the front desk. And I'm currently in my new room now. All I hear is sirens and trains and cars honking. Don't stay in this hell hole!! FML.”
“We thought this would be a nice upscale Hotel but instead it is a normal hotel with a huge price tag. My friend and I went on a cruise and decided to stay here since it's so close to the airport. I paid almost $500 for a room that looks like a motel six. This place desperately needs a renovation. The bathroom was tiny and everything was stuck to the wall. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion there was a tiny bar of soap so we could wash our hands. The rugs needed to be changed. The walls need to be painted. Our room smelled musty. Felt like I was in some old Vegas motel. All the food was expensive and I'm talking string cheese for over two dollars and a water bottle for 16.9 ounce eight bucks. The bed was comfortable and that's why I gave the two stars. For $500 a night I could've gotten a better room at the best Western inn with free breakfast, lol. At least my toilet worked, my friends clogged a couple of times and she had to wait for a maintenance guy who was very rude. The only thing that looked nice was the front lobby. Other than that everything looks pretty crummy. This is the reason I always use Airbnb. I will never book another Hilton hotel ever again. Horrible; spend your money elsewhere people.”
“We made the reservation during some downtime in our hotel in Arcadia, CA. After making the reservation I did a search of Trip Advisor reviews of this Homewood Suites hotel. I read the reviews in order from most recent. The reviews made for some of the most hysterical reading I have done in some time. Since the reviews were so opposing I thought I should comment based on my realty. First, the hotel is definitely showing some signs of age. This is not a bad thing if you accept that things age and that if those aging things are well cared for they retain their value. Such is the case with hotel. It is very clean and very well maintained. Our 1 bedroom suite was very clean and there was no mold, hairballs, or dirt in any of the rooms. The fridge and freezer were immaculate, as was the microwave. The mattress was a standard Hilton King and was as comfortable as any I have experienced in any Hilton property. The sheets and pillow cases were obviously recently laundered. I found no sticky brown stuff on the sheets. Both TVs functioned correctly. In all, I found nothing really wrong with the property or room. This place is a fantastic value in a wonderful location off the strip. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. Finally, if you have read a number of reviews of this hotel you have probably encountered references to a desk attendant named “Debby”. Well, to set that record straight, I found Debby to be a very nice and outgoing person. After conversing with her for some time, I find it hard to believe this woman could be rude or vulgar even if she wanted to be.”
