“The staff on the whole was great, but the management decisions are terrible. The hotel is undergoing renovations so there were some construction areas blocked off, but in too many situations poor decisions were made. There was one narrow corridor (one person wide) leading to the elevators, with the normal signs pointing to the area but when we first arrived I couldn't believe that this shrouded tiny hall was where the elevators were because of poor signage. To get from the hotel side to the other side of the casino where the front desk (and more importantly Starbucks) is you either have to squeeze by the craps table players or walk around the row of table games. There is one 24/7 restaurant - Dupar's. All the other restaurants close at 9:00 during the week and 10:00 on the weekends. There is one that is only open on Friday and Saturday. The pool bar closes at 6:00 except on Friday and Saturday when they stay open until 8:00, the closing time of the pool. On the last day of our stay the air conditioning was out and the hot water non-existent, apparently from the same issue. We were often occupying our room in the afternoon so didn't expect housekeeping to do a full service, we just got fresh towels and the trash removed every other day. The one day we knew we were not going to be needing the room all afternoon I called housekeeping to let them know we would be out of the room and asked to get the only full service during our stay, I got push back and was told they would do towels and trash again. I asked again for full service and was told it would be done but when we got back it hadn't been done. The hotel was converting to a new system for their cash registers and ordering systems, which was not working well, and the staff was pointing at the new system in frustration. The last day we were there the pool bar opened at 4:00 due to power issues, but couldn't order food deliveries because of the new system not working. “Overall, I had a good experience at Suncoast Hotel. The person who helped me out and over the phone was extremely kind and helpful. They were able to accommodate early check in about 1-2 hours earlier than normal check in time. Given that we came on a peak weekend, the prices were extremely reasonable. I would say this is an older hotel with older facilities compared to others in the area, but for the price, I did not mind. I would stay here again for the service and the price!”

“The hotel is in a great location. Our family is a regular visitor. Everyone is very friendly. This stay was 10 days in which we never managed to play bowling because they constantly told us that they had some events. We are with a child and this is one of the reasons we stayed at the hotel. This will be one of the reasons for our next visit to think about whether to stay there. We saw that they were going to renovate the rooms, which they really need. Most of the cabinets don't close, the bathroom is very old, and the sinks there are terrible. Brushing your teeth takes about 20 minutes, the water collects in the sink and drains terribly slowly, and then the sink is dirty. Really terrible😞”

This hotel is in the west side of Las Vegas about 15 minute drive to the Strip. Still has complimentary Valet parking, good restaurants, and large rooms at a fair price.”
“This was for a quick trip to attend a seminar at another hotel within walking distance (they did not have any rooms available). The drawback to ALL these Vegas hotels is the casino in the lobby: one has to walk around a smoke-filled and dim gaming parlour to get to the lifts/rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable.”

“Great hotel. Location about 15 minutes from the airport and also the strip. Pool not very big, but it does the job. Staff was polite/helpful. Free valet parking. Quite a few nice restaurants. Get the pancakes at Dupars. You won’t be disappointed! Currently under some renovations, but not really an inconvenience.”
