“Hvis Walden var rett og slett gamle det ville ikke vært et problem. Jeg måtte gå til resepsjonen og be dem om å skifte laken på sengen fordi de var veldig åpenbart ikke rent. Sengen hadde massevis av hår og sengetøyet hadde ikke blitt vasket. De ga meg et ark. Jeg brukte min skjorte til en pute tilfelle og sov i klærne mine på toppen av rene ark. Folk i rommet ved siden av meg også sa de hadde skittent sengetøy. Det også syntes å være urin over hele badet veggene. Jeg ringer i Las Vegas helseavdeling mandag morgen.”

“YOU WILL NOT FEEL SAFE. The people running it are the sweetest people around. The room itself was okish, very clean but dated. Honestly you get what you paid for. The reason I give it an extremely uncomfortable mark is because the area. Pretty low life type of vibe,Its seems to be a gang hangout spot. I had people try to open my door three different times throughout the night. Wasn't able to sleep knowing they tried to come in several times. YOU WILL NOT FEEL SAFE.”
“So I knew from the photo that this wasn't going to be a fancy place, I knew that it was 2-stars and that I was saving money by being off the strip (still over $300 for two nights because it was Labor Day weekend!). Unfortunately, it was a disaster from the start. They weren't expecting me in spite of my hotels.com reservation but ended up having a spare room thankfully, they wanted to charge me cash deposits on top of the fact that I paid with a credit card and they had my license, there was no hot water and then 2 minutes of hot water the two times I showered, I killed two roaches in my room, the mattress and pillows were terrible, and their white towels had yellow and brown stains on them. They have a big sign out front that says "No Refunds," so, yeah, that's the vibes. I'm glad this place has a many good reviews as it does, but I don't see how. Oh, and there's no coffee maker. Nothing like waking up in Vegas and having to walk three blocks to a gas station for a cup of coffee.”

“We stayed at the Walden Motel as our main hotel stay was to start the next day and we needed a room for the night when we arrived. The place is moderately clean and the staff is okay - as expected for the price. If you find the room dirty or need changed facilities - talk to the manager, more often than not they will help out.”
“If Walden was simply old it wouldn't have been a problem. I had to go to the front desk and ask them to change the sheets on the bed because they were very obviously not clean. The bed had lots of hair and the bedding hadn't been washed. They gave me a sheet. I used my shirt as a pillow case and slept in my clothes on top of the clean sheets. People in the room next to me also said they had dirty bedding. It also seemed to be urine all over the bathroom walls. I am calling the Las Vegas health department Monday morning.”

“Location is not the best. It sits back from the road and has a huge parking area. During the night hours there is a lot of traffic in that parking lot. A lot of people walk through the area. Definitely lock your cars. Staff was nice and helpful. Facility was very clean.”
