Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-06-27
Rules for safe and lawful use of AskSIM.ai.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service. It protects AskSIM, our users, and the public from misuse of AI planning and local execution features.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use AskSIM to plan, review, and—after explicit approval—execute development tasks on projects you own or are authorized to modify.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use AskSIM to:
- Violate any law, regulation, export control, or third-party rights.
- Generate, approve, or execute malware, ransomware, credential theft, or unauthorized access tools.
- Harass, threaten, defraud, or discriminate against individuals or groups.
- Process sensitive personal data (health, financial account numbers, government IDs) without lawful basis and safeguards.
- Circumvent approval gates, safety policies, rate limits, or command blocklists.
- Overload or disrupt the Service (DDoS, scraping, credential stuffing).
- Impersonate AskSIM staff or misrepresent AI output as human professional advice (legal, medical, financial).
- Use the Service to build spyware or surveillance tools targeting individuals without consent.
- Resell or white-label the Service without written agreement.
4. Command & Execution Rules
Even when AskSIM blocks high-risk commands, you must review every approval. You are liable for commands run on your machine.
Do not approve commands you do not understand. Do not run the agent on production servers unless you accept that risk.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate violations, remove content, suspend accounts, revoke device tokens, and report unlawful activity to authorities.
6. Reporting Abuse
Report violations to admin@asksim.ai with relevant logs and timestamps.
Notice: These documents are product legal drafts. Have a qualified attorney review before relying on them for regulated industries or high-risk use cases.
