Local Execution & PowerShell Agent Agreement

1. Scope

This agreement covers the AskSIM PowerShell agent and any local tooling that polls our API and executes approved commands on your Windows machine.

2. Your Control & Environment

Commands run in the project directory you configure (ASKSIM_PROJECT_PATH). The agent uses your user permissions on that machine. AskSIM cloud services do not directly access your filesystem.

You are responsible for antivirus, backups, version control, and network security on the host where the agent runs.

3. Device Tokens

Device tokens authenticate your agent to your account. Treat tokens like passwords. Revoke compromised tokens immediately in the dashboard.

Anyone with your token may queue and retrieve commands approved under your account.

4. Safety Policy

AskSIM blocks certain dangerous command patterns server-side and in the local policy module. Blocklists are not exhaustive. Novel attack patterns or misconfigurations may still execute if you approve them.

5. Liability

You agree that AskSIM is not liable for damage arising from commands you approved, agent misconfiguration, third-party package installs, or script execution on your hardware.
