This Privacy Policy explains how Loved Scents LLC (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you use AskSim at asksim.ai.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Loved Scents LLC. Contact: admin@asksim.ai.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: email, password (hashed), optional name, birth year (for age gating), parent email when required.
• Usage data: messages to Sim, study settings (avatar, nickname, age band), token balances and purchase records.
• Media you provide: photos uploaded or captured to create a Sim avatar.
• Technical data: device/browser type, IP-related logs, and cookies needed for sessions.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

• Provide and improve SIM chat, avatars, voice, and related features.
• Process token purchases and prevent fraud/abuse.
• Enforce parental approval and safety rules.
• Operate the Service using third-party infrastructure (hosting, AI, voice, image, email, payments).
• Comply with law and protect rights and safety.

4. Third-party processors

Tokens pay for third-party services that power SIM (for example AI, speech, and image providers), plus hosting and payments. Those providers process data under their own terms when you use related features. We select processors to operate the product; we do not sell your personal information.

5. Children and teens

Under-18 accounts require parent/guardian approval. See Parental Guidance. We do not knowingly allow unsupervised accounts for young children without a parent gate as designed.

6. Retention

We retain account and usage data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and accounting purposes.

7. Account deletion (App Store)

If you create an account, you can permanently delete it inside the app (Menu → Account → Delete my account) or at https://asksim.ai/account/delete. Deletion removes the account credentials, SIM profile/settings, and associated app data we store that we are not legally required to keep. Prepaid tokens are non-refundable (see Sales policy). Payment processors may retain transaction records as required by law. You may also email admin@asksim.ai for help.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including hashed passwords and encrypted transport). No method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Your choices

You may update profile settings in the app, sign out, stop using the Service, or delete your account as described above. Where applicable law provides additional rights (access, correction, portability), contact us.

10. App platforms

AskSim may be offered as a website, progressive web app, and native wrappers (iOS / Android) that load asksim.ai. The same Privacy Policy applies. Microphone and camera access are used only for features you choose (voice talk, selfie avatars) and require your device permission.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. Continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
