Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AskSim and the website asksim.ai (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Loved Scents LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing tokens, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Sales & Chargeback Policy, and (if applicable) Parental Guidance.

1. The Service

AskSim is a Bible study and learning platform. Sim is the Scripture Insight Mentor — a helper who teaches and prays with humility, never claiming to be God. Features may include Scripture reading (public-domain KJV), structured study terms, Ask Sim chat, campus courses, practice, assessments, avatar presentation, optional voice, progress tracking, and related upgrades. Features may change as we develop the product.

Educational & ministry disclosure: AskSim is an independent study platform and AI mentoring service. AskSim is not a church, not a public school, and does not currently issue accredited diplomas or academic credit unless a specific program explicitly states otherwise. Sim does not replace parents, pastors, or the local church.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

You may permanently delete your account in the app (Menu → Account → Delete my account) or at /account/delete. Deletion removes credentials and SIM data we store that we are not legally required to keep. Prepaid tokens are not refunded. Support: /support.

3. Tokens and purchases

Tokens are prepaid digital credits used inside the Service. They are not money, securities, investments, or stored value redeemable for cash. Token purchases fund third-party technology costs (for example AI, voice, and image services) and continued development of SIM. See the Sales & Chargeback Policy: all sales are final except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to harm others, break the law, exploit minors, attempt unauthorized access, or abuse infrastructure. SIM is designed to be family-friendly and “never evil.” We may refuse or limit outputs that violate safety rules.

5. Minors

Users under 18 require parent/guardian approval as described in our Parental Guidance. Parents are responsible for supervising use and payment methods.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, and software are owned by Loved Scents LLC or its licensors. You keep rights to content you upload (for example photos used to create avatars), and you grant us a license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” SIM is not a licensed professional (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). Educational content is for learning support, not guaranteed grades, diplomas, or professional advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loved Scents LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for tokens in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Loved Scents LLC and its officers, members, and agents from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may be noted on the site.
